#1 - On-Site Soil Gas Testing
This test is conducted by an experienced professional. A field technician will come to the property and create soil borings. They will use a probe in each boring to measure methane gas levels in the soil. The results will determine what level of methane mitigation will be required for the property, if any. The report will be completed by a licensed LADBS (Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety) laboratory.
#2 - Methane Mitigation Plan Design
If a property contains hazardous gases like Methane in the soil, or is located within a LADBS Methane Zone, a set of methane mitigation plans will be required by the city for the health and safety of the building’s future occupants. We can design an appropriate methane mitigation plan that is tailored to the specific needs and requirements of the project whether it is a residential single-family home, an apartment complex, a commercial warehouse, or other type of building. These plans are reviewed, approved, and stamped by a certified Engineer.
#3 - Deputy Inspection Services
As methane specialists, we offer deputy inspection services for methane mitigation construction. If you are a contractor and have a methane mitigation system going into your project, we can inspect the work to ensure it built properly and meets all safety standards. These inspections are conducted by a licensed deputy inspector.
